Kaylah was born and raised in East Vancouver. Her mother is a Euro-Canadian activist and her father was a Chilean refugee. Kaylah completed a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology at the University of British Columbia before beginning auditioning for film and television in 2017. She has since trained at The Neighborhood Playhouse and The Fitzmaurice Institute in New York City and with her mentor Lori Triolo in Vancouver.

Kaylah is known for her recurring roles on iZombie, The 100 and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and for her portrayal of Melissa O’Neil in Rescued by Ruby opposite Grant Gustin. Favourite projects include the John Ridley film Needle in a Timestack and the short film Colours by actor/director Brooklyn Prince. Kaylah currently splits her work time between Vancouver and Mexico City and her free time taking care of cats, horses and orchids.

Kaylah is a white, Latinx settler living on Musqueam, Sto:lo, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh territories. Her pronouns are she/her.
